A North Shore Readers Theatre Staged Reading
When entitlement, ambition, and insecurity collide with love and fidelity.
A small group of close friends gather in Manhattan for a celebration. Two couples are struggling. Will the years of closeness sustain their relationships, or will the same years of proximity strain their familiar bonds? The play examines what expectations are buried in friendship and marriage and how we navigate those attachments as life unfolds.

Brief bio – JT Maison
Following college, where he studied physics and theoretical mathematics, Mr. Maison had a substantial career in science. Midway through it, writing entered and began taking over his life, and he is now the author of several plays, some short stories and two novels. Last year, After the Party was completed in its current form, and thanks to Marc, Charles Van Eman and TASN is presented here today.
