Intro to Improv – We will cover the basic “rules” of improv such as agreeing (“Yes-anding”), active listening and finding truth in comedy through a series of improv games and exercises over 6 weeks. We will explore multi-person scenes as well as group scenes and games. This course will culminate in an optional performance open to the public.
Ethan Jule
Ethan has been studying Improv for over ten years and has graduated from the Upright Citizens Brigade training program, the Improv Asylum training program and was selected to be part of an Improv Asylum House Team performing at the IA theatre in Boston. Additionally, he has taken classes with Kismet Improv and members of the legendary Improv team “The Stepfathers” based out of NYC. He hosts a weekly podcast called “No Outlet” and cannot wait to see you in class!
