Theatrical Presentations

Welcome to the Audio Books section
of the TASN website!

During this period of “COVID-19 downtime,” when all of us are finding new ways to stay safe and sane, we at The Actors Studio thought we could provide a few options by doing what we do best – share the creative spirit through the spoken word. One attempt to connect with our audiences is this resource of audio books and stories. We chose audio content because 1) there is already a plethora of video content online in the form of movies, performances, and games, and 2) we believe a little time when the images are in your head – rather than on screen – would be a good thing.

All the audio content on our site is cost and copyright free. You may listen to them on your computer, smart phone, or tablet. It may also be copied and transferred to a CD. Some of our audio books have been provided by LibriVox. We encourage you visit its site and browse many more free titles.

Over the next days and weeks, we will collect texts of copyright-free books and stories that our actors will perform to make audio book files. We have also reached out to storytellers to record their stories for us for inclusion on the site.
