Scene Study Class – Daytime

This workshop focuses on skills, techniques, and tips that will add to your toolbox and enhance your experience as an actor. At least two years of performance or class experience is required for registration.

Over six weeks we will read the whole play to understand the scene to be developed, highlight clues to your character, focus on relationship/status, staging, and prop work, and, finally, perform the scenes for the public.

Marc Clopton creates a safe and encouraging environment for actors to expand their skills and onstage confidence. Applying professional standards, Marc emphasizes the collaborative structure of play production, focusing on respect for the text, authenticity, and specific character traits.
