Theme: Coincidences
The Full Moon Story Slam is our chance to gather as friends and share true stories from our lives. Simply put, a story slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling. It puts a dual emphasis on content and performance, encouraging storytellers to focus on what they’re saying and how they’re saying it. It is an exercise in crafting stories within a set time limit – and it is great entertainment! Story slammers will tell a 5-minute short story based on the evening’s theme: “Coincidences.”

Criteria for judging:
• The story has an arc: a beginning, a point of change, and a resolution.
• Presentation of the story.
• Time (no longer than five minutes) and connection to the theme.

Where: Join us in our new space – The Actors Studio – Amesbury, 109 Main Street, Amesbury
Please remember, the story must be true. The story must be yours. And you may not use props, notes or a written script.
