NSRT - Going Wild, by Peter Snoad

Saturday, April 14 at 10am - with talkback immediately following

When small-town librarian Meredith Stafford replaces her mole-infested lawn with a "atural" landscape, she runs afoul of a local lawn ordinance. Incensed, Meredith challenges the ordinance in court. It's the unwitting start to a bizarre journey that shakes her faith in America as a bastion of freedom, democracy and the rule of law.

Ray Arsenault directs the reading, which features, Pamela Battin-Sacks, Greg Chabot, David Holden, Mike Kimball, Kathleen Miller, and Gretchen Stone.

North Shore Readers Theater —Established in 2006, sponsors ten events a year at TASN. On the second Saturday of every month from September to June new plays from local and regional playwrights are presented in a Readers Theatre format before an audience, followed by a moderated talkback. This provides playwrights an essential step in play development and local actors and directors the opportunity to work in the Readers Theatre format. A number of plays in the series have won awards and have been produced locally and internationally.
